House Buying Tip #2

Organise your $$$

Kiwis love buying houses! Here is our second tip about important things you need to know when buying a house…

Many home buyers will need to get finance to buy a house. Talk to a few different lenders before you enter into a contract to purchase a house to find a lender that is right for you. You might also like to try a mortgage broker. When you do enter into a contract to purchase, make sure your contract is conditional on getting finance approved.

Sometimes home buyers who need to get a bank loan to buy a house won’t make their contract to purchase a house conditional on getting their finance approved. The danger of this is if the bank doesn’t approve your loan application then you are still locked into a contract to purchase the house.
